Julie is a mum of 5 children and grandmother to 5 grandchildren. She loves gardening, being in nature, hiking, camping and cooking. She has always had a keen interest in health and well-being and practices this in her everyday life.
In 2010, Julie suffered 2 heart attacks within a week. This, along with other pain and mental health conditions prompted her to pursue a career in the healing industry, particularly Remedial and Aged Care Massage. She felt that these experiences enabled her to empathise with people who are going through medical issues of their own.
Julie’s scope of practice has widened to include lymphoedema, lipoedema, oncology and pain management, which has given her opportunities to treat people with these conditions and others such as fibromyalgia, cancer and chronic joint pain.
Her love of helping people encourages her to achieve great results that are aligned to her clients’ goals. She employs various techniques to relieve the effects of conditions that a person has by working with the body to enable the muscles to relax and receive the treatment needed.
